Within two months of launching sales—and just as the building hit 50% sold—the development and construction management firm New Empire Corp. celebrated the topping out of Hendrix House. With its bronze and brick façade, the DXA Studios–designed residential building adds a 12-story bit of eye candy to Second Avenue.
AD PRO Directory firm Paris Forino designed the building’s amenity spaces, which are set to include a fitness center, private yoga studio, wellness spa, landscaped courtyard, and rooftop lounge. The units themselves each have a dedicated home office space, complete with a built-in desk and shelves—a addition fit for today’s remote or hybrid workers who might otherwise end up with makeshift WFH setups. “Designed for a new era of work, live and play, Hendrix House’s Kips Bay location makes it the perfect choice for a new generation of New Yorkers pursuing convenience along with a complete living experience under one roof,” Shaun Osher, founder and CEO of CORE Real Estate, which is leading sales and marketing for the building, said in a statement shared with AD PRO.
Prices begin at $895,000 for a studio, $1.275 million for a one-bedroom, and $1.659 million for a two-bedroom.
