New Empire Corp. has begun construction at 58-01 Queens Boulevard, a large assemblage in Woodside, Queens, where a 12-story residential property will soon take shape. Designed by Tang Studio Architect, the 120-unit building was initially announced as a condominium building with units that range from studios up to two-bedroom units.
Whitehall Interiors will oversee interior design of the apartments and the amenity spaces. The latter will include a children’s playroom, an indoor lounge, personal storage, an outdoor terrace, and a fully equipped fitness center.
“The acquisition of 58-01 Queens Boulevard and the future development of the site will offer attainable luxury to an already vibrant community,” said New Empire Corp. chairman and CEO Bentley Zhao. “In addition to the recent market reports that indicate that apartments in Queens are in limited supply, we believe the property’s optimal location, unique design elements, and efficient unit layouts will be a draw to future residents.”
The project team has not yet revealed renderings of the building.
